CRC STREAMS CLEANUP!
Join Edgmont Township along with CRC Watersheds for the 27th Annual Streams Cleanup on March 29, 2025 from 9:00 - 11:30 am. Adults, high school students and children are welcome! We will supply gloves (adult small, medium, large) and trash bags for the collection. (If you are bringing children, please supply gloves for them.) Registration is required to receive a free t-shirt. We are accepting walk-ins the morning of the event (but you will not receive a t-shirt without registering prior to March 21st).
This year the cleanup will be at Edgmont Shopping Center and we will meet at the parking lot to the right of the Regal Movie Theater at 9:00 am. Just look for the Edgmont Township tent! Please see the flyer to the right for more information and the map for meeting location & cleanup location.

EDGMONT TOWNSHIP EASTER EGG HUNT!
Come join us for an egg-citing day at Edgmont Township's Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 12, 2025 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm (rain or shine). Hop on down to our event at the Edgmont Township Community Park at 800 Gradyville Road, Newtown Square (next to the Edgmont Township Building). Please CLICK HERE to register!
Participation is for children 12 & under, but families are all welcome and encouraged to attend. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:45 & afterwards the Easter Bunny will arrive on a fire truck to meet & greet with children & families for pictures! Please bring your own baskets to search for treat-filled eggs.
Registration is REQUIRED for this event to better prepare for supplies for the amount of attendees. All participants must be registered by Monday, April 7, 2025.
Parking for the event is available at the Community Park, the Municipal Building, and at the Edgmont Firehouse. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at 610-459-1662 or edgmontadmin@edgmont.org.

Child Safety Seat Checks: The PA State Police offers free certified child safety seat installation and checks. A trooper will explain how to correctly install the seat, correct any installation errors, and provide information on installation best practices and use of the seat. The Media Barracks offers these checks the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at 1342 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA. (P) 484-840-1000.
Comcast Channel Changes: Please be advised as of February 28, 2025, SporTV is ceasing operations and as of March 6, 2025, Universal Kids is ceasing operations.
Verizon Fios Channel Changes: Please be advised as of April 14, 2025, the following channels will no longer be a part of the Fios TV channel lineup in certain Fios TV packages: Disney Jr, Disney XD, FX Movie Channel, and National Geographic Wild. Please check with Verizon to see if your specific Fios TV package is affected.
Upcoming PECO Pole Replacement and Vegetation work in the Township: An upcoming electrical project including pole replacement and vegetation work begin in mid-March, and take place on Creek Road, Grist Mill Road, Locksley Road, Old Gradyville Road, Skyline Drive, and Slitting Mill Road. Tree work is expected to be completed in May 2025, with electrical work immediately following. The project is expected to be completed in December 2025. In addition, to try and reduce power outages caused by vegetation, PECO will be trimming and removing trees along Sweetwater Road, Valley Road, Sycamore Mills Road, Yarnell Lane, Gradyville Road, Meadow Lane, Slitting Mill Road, Farmers Lane, and Pheasant Lane.
Middletown Free Library is seeking (2) Volunteer Board Members - Applicants do not need to be Middletown Township residents to apply for the open Board Member positions. Interested candidates should contact Library Director Derek Lloyd, at 610-566-7828.

This policy addresses the fast and ever-changing landscape of the dissemination of information and the way Edgmont Township communicates. Come and celebrate Earth Day & Arbor Day with us this year! Edgmont Township is pleased to offer a selection of native trees to township residents. A total of 125 tree seedlings are available and can be ordered online. Limit one tree per household, registration & payment are required, while supplies last.
Types of trees available: Red Maple, Red Oak, River Birch, Redbud & Serviceberry

Please note: All tree seedlings will be in a 3” x 9” container and will be about 12” – 18” in height (the Red Oak will be smaller, 12” high & possibly smaller.)
Order Deadline: March 29, 2025
Pick-up Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
(Trees must be picked up on these dates, no other pick-up option is available)
