Generator Permit Requirements

Natural gas and propane generators require a building permit - CLICK HERE

Please submit the permit application, payment, and a plot plan of the property showing where the generator is going to be installed. Forms may be mailed or hand delivered at the township office, or or e-mailed to Edgmontadmin@edgmont.org. All permit applications must be signed by the property owner. The Township does not accept permits without payment. Please note that if the property is governed by an HOA, an approval letter from the HOA is required prior to permit issuance.

Payments can be made HERE. For online payment, under 'Select Payment Item' select Permits. In the 'Type of Permit'  list the property address.

Building, Mechanical, Plumbing Inspections: To schedule an inspection, the homeowner or contractor should contact Linn Architects at inspections@rlinn.com or by phone 610-566-7044 Option 2. 

 

Electrical Inspections: To schedule an inspection, the homeowner or contractor should contact Len Warren, at United Inspections by phone 610-399-5094.
