Grading and Stormwater Management Permit Information

In 2012, Edgmont Township adopted new regulations passed down by the State governing stormwater management. Projects that create five hundred (500) to nine hundred ninety-nine (999) square feet of new impervious surface require a Grading and Stormwater Management Permit and fall under the "simplified" method for stormwater management. Projects that create more than one thousand (1,000) square feet of new impervious surface require a Grading and Stormwater Management Permit, engineered plans, and fall under the "engineered" method for stormwater management. Grading projects that disturb more than five thousand (5,000) square feet require a Grading and Stormwater Management Permit. All Grading and Stormwater Management permits require an Operation and Maintenance Agreement.
